WHO WE SERVE
Every letter matters because every life in uniform matters. Our mission is to make sure that no service member or veteran ever feels forgotten. Through our letter-writing programs, we proudly serve the following:
Active Duty (Stateside)
Even without deployment, service members face long separations from loved ones, high stress, and demanding work. We reach those serving at bases across the country to let them know their commitment still matters.
Deployed Service Members
We reach those serving far from home—on ships, in remote outposts, and active combat zones—ensuring they know they are seen, supported, and appreciated.
Post-9/11 Veterans
Many of today’s veterans face invisible wounds and complex transitions. Our letters provide moments of encouragement and connection, especially for those feeling isolated or undervalued.
Combat Veterans
Whether from Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, or beyond—combat veterans carry memories most can’t imagine. Our letters remind them they are not alone, and their sacrifice has not been forgotten.
Hospitalized and Inpatient Veterans
We send uplifting letters to VA hospitals and mental health treatment centers, offering comfort and encouragement to those in crisis or recovery.
Lonely, Forgotten, or At-Risk Veterans
Some veterans receive no mail, no visits, no recognition. We make it our mission to reach them with messages of hope and connection.
National Guard and Reserve Members
Often overlooked, these service members juggle military and civilian life. Our letters recognize their dual commitment and reinforce their vital role.
New Recruits and Transitioning Service Members
Those just entering or leaving the military face enormous change. We provide steady encouragement through the unknowns of basic training or reentry into civilian life.
Veteran Support Organizations
We partner with trusted nonprofits and VA programs to deliver letters in bundles, ensuring they reach the right hands—especially those most in need of emotional support.
LETTERS VS CARDS
- Use notebook paper, plain paper, legal pads, store-bought stationery or print your own stationary.
- Write neat and legible; no typing.
- No religious or political references.
- All letters are required to contain a minimum of FIVE (5) full sentences.
The #1 reason for letters ending up in the recycle bin is that they are too short. Cards and letters with nothing more than a short sentiment will not be delivered.

- Use copy paper, construction paper, or cardstock-folded in half or quarters
- Decorate the outside of your card.
- Include up to (5) full sentences.
- Sign first name and age or grade.
As of September 1st, 2025 only K-5 STUDENTS can send cards.
