Workplace Giving Partnerships
Workplace giving partnerships invite companies to join A Million Thanks® in supporting our nation’s military. Through these collaborations, employees engage in both letter-writing drives and financial support, creating a meaningful blend of service and philanthropy.
How It Works
1. Letter-Writing Events
Companies host on-site or virtual letter drives using our official guidelines. We provide templates, toolkits, and promotional materials. All letters are mailed back to headquarters for screening and distribution.
2. Volunteer Hour Grants
Employees can log volunteer hours for writing letters. Many corporations donate funds—often $10–$25 per hour—through their internal volunteer grant programs.
3. Corporate Matching Gifts
Companies may match employee donations made through payroll deductions or direct giving to A Million Thanks®.
4. Cause Marketing
Workplace Giving Partners may include their company logo on sponsored letters as part of an approved campaign. Because this form of outreach combines marketing with philanthropy, logo placement is permitted only when financial resources are included—ensuring that every branded effort directly supports postage, materials, and delivery costs.
5. Recognition & Impact Reporting
Corporate partners receive updates showing letters and volunteer hours contributed, along with photos and testimonials from recipients when available.
Oversight & Benefits
All letters and funds flow through A Million Thanks® headquarters to maintain consistency and compliance. Partners gain measurable CSR impact, national recognition, and the opportunity to make a direct difference for service members and veterans through the power of handwritten connection.
