of Goal Raised
Description of Injury:
SSgt Springman has had two combat deployments including Iraq in 2007 and Afghanistan in 2013. He was a Navy Corpsman (Combat Medic) and has treated over 50 combat casualties. He found himself engaged with enemy forces numerous times. After years of troubled sleep, tremors and migraines at night, mental health doctors finally were able to diagnose his severe PTSD, and numbness at night.Wish:
Because of his PTSD, intense migraines and numbness at night, SSgt Springman often leaves his small bed each night so that he does not disrupt his wife as he struggles to deal with the pain and lack of sleep. He often spends most nights on the couch struggling to find a comfortable position, and the right state of mind, to fall back to sleep. A new bed, with Sleep Numberís well known Sleep IQ Technology will allow the bed to adjust to the proper setting and recommend the proper position of the bed to give SSgt Springman the best night sleep possible.
